Follow these handy hints to rejuvenate your blooms after their journey and keep them at their very best

  • Snip 2-3cm from each stem, be sure to remove any leaves that may fall below the water line.
  • Place flowers in a clean vase of fresh water with flower food.
  • To refresh your flowers, re-cut stems every 2-3 days and place them back in a clean vase of water.
  • Keep flowers away from draughts, direct sunlight, heat, and fruit.

Roses – occasionally rose heads can droop during transit. If this happens follow these simple steps

  • Wrap the heads in tissue paper or kitchen roll to protect them.
  • Re-cut the stems 2-3cms from the base at an angle with a sharp knife.
  • Place the roses in hot (but not boiling) water for an hour.
  • Your roses should now be refreshed.

  • We only select the freshest blooms, some are so fresh they arrive in bud – by following our care instructions they’ll soon open.
  • Guard petals – Rose outer petals may appear discolored or misshapen, these naturally protect the delicate inner petals. Guard petals can be gently removed to reveal a beautiful bloom. Removing the guard petals can result in the flower looking better in the short term but can encourage the rose to perish more quickly.
  • Lily pollen can stain – do not use water to remove it, let the pollen dry then brush away or dab it with sticky tape.
  • Some flowers can be harmful if digested and may cause skin irritation.
